Route

High season tour (from April to October):

9:30 am: Pickup in front of Hotel Le Bristol (address: 44 cours Jean Jaurès 84000 Avignon)

10:30 am: Stroll inside the city of Arles (1 hour drive), where you will see monuments such as St Trophime cloister, Van Gogh Café, the Amphitheater and the Roman Theater. Duration: about 1 hour.

12:00/12:15 pm: Guided tour of the oil mill Moulin CastelaS in Les Baux de Provence (30 minutes drive) with a tasting at the end of the tour of at least 5 different olive oils of Vallée des Baux de Provence appellation. Duration: about 30 minutes.

12:30/12:45 pm: Provençal picnic at the oil mill in Les Baux de Provence, made up of local goods (instance: hard-boiled eggs from the farm, tapenade, red pepper purée, fresh goat cheese, seasonal fruits, grape juice), in beautiful surroundings under the fig trees. Duration: about 1 hour.

1:45/2:00 pm: Visit of the Carrières des Lumières in Les Baux de Provence (5 minutes drive) with their wonderful light show projected on these former limestone quarries used to build the village (entrance tickets included in the price). Duration: around 1 hour.

2:45/3:00 pm: Photo stop on a cliff for a stunning view over the medieval village of Les Baux de Provence (5 minutes drive), to take a lot of wonderful pictures ! Duration: around 10 minutes.

3:15/3:30 pm: Free time in the cute little town of St Rémy de Provence (15 minutes drive), the last residence of the painter Vincent Van Gogh. Duration: about 1 hour.

4:15/4:30 pm: Back to Avignon (45 minutes drive). Arrival in front of Hotel Le Bristol around 4:45/5:00 pm.

Off-season tour (from November to March, afternoon only):

1:00 pm: Pickup in front of Hotel Le Bristol (address: 44 cours Jean Jaurès 84000 Avignon)

5:45/6:00 pm: Back to Avignon (45 minutes drive). Arrival in front of Hotel Le Bristol around 6:15/6:30 pm.
