10:00 am: Pickup in front of Avignon tourist office (address: 41 cours Jean Jaurès)

10:45 am: Visit of Thouzon Caves (admission tickets included in the price) located at Le Thor (30 minutes drive), discovered in 1902, in which temperature does not exceed 13°C (56°F). Duration: about 1 hour.

12:15 pm: Provençal picnic in the freshness of Le Groseau in Malaucène (45 minutes drive). This shady site is located near a spring which is considered Fontaine de Vaucluse’s little sister. The picnic will only be made up of local goods (instance: hard-boiled eggs from the farm, tapenade, anchovy purée, fresh goat cheese, seasonal fruits, grape juice). Duration: about 1 hour.

1:30 pm: Stroll at the summit of the Mont Ventoux (20 minutes drive), nicknamed the Giant of Provence with the full height of its 1,910 metres/6,266 feet of altitude and offering an incredible 360° panorama. There, you will also discover its lunar landscape as well as some chamois and sheep if you are a bit lucky! It is worth noting that temperatures were never higher than 30°C (86°F) in the history! Duration: about 45 minutes.
