Practical information
EVERYDAY
Duration : 6 or 9 hours
Starting point : Tourist Offices of Avignon, Carpentras, Vaison-la-Romaine, Pernes-les-Fontaines, Bédoin and Malaucène.
Make sure to have :
- shoes designed for walking
- hat
- bottle of water
- sunglasses
- sunscreen
- snack

Description
Tour which will make you return more than 2000 years into the past with the Roman presence in Provence and its numerous vestiges and monuments still present. You will visit the city of Nîmes with its arena and its square house, but also the ancient theatre of Orange and the impressive bridge-aqueduct of Pont du Gard.
The day tour will drive you to Vaison-la-Romaine with its 2 ancient sites, its Roman bridge, its ancient theatre and its archaeological museum. You will also be able to jump in the Middle Ages with the medieval side of the city which is also worth lingering.
