Route

Morning tour in high season (from April to October):

9:30 am: Pickup in front of Hotel Le Bristol (address: 44 cours Jean Jaurès 84000 Avignon)

10:00 am: Tasting in a family winery in Beaumes-de-Venise (30 minutes drive), village mainly known for its Muscat (natural sweet wine). Duration: between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

11:00/11:15 am: Tasting in a winery in Gigondas (15 minutes drive), AOP mainly with red wine but also rosé (1%) and white from 2023. Duration: about 1 hour.

12:15 pm: Provençal picnic in Gigondas, only made up of local goods (instance: hard-boiled eggs from the farm, tapenade, anchovy purée, fresh goat cheese, seasonal fruits, grape juice). Duration: about 1 hour.

1:45/2:00 pm: Prestigious family winery in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (25 minutes drive), internationally famous wine, especially in red (95% of the production), but which also gets an excellent white wine. Duration: between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

2:45/3:00 pm: Back to Avignon (25 minutes drive). Arrival in front of Hotel Le Bristol at around 3:15/3:30 pm.

Morning tour in off season (from November to March):

9:30 am: Pickup in front of Hotel Le Bristol (address: 44 cours Jean Jaurès 84000 Avignon)

10:00/10:15 am: Tasting in a winery in Gigondas, Beaumes-de-Venise or Séguret (30 to 45 minutes drive). Duration: between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

11:15/11:30 am: Prestigious family winery in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (30 minutes drive), internationally famous wine, especially in red (95% of the production), but which also gets an excellent white wine. Duration: between 40 minutes and 1 hour.

12:15/12:30 pm: Back to Avignon (25 minutes drive). Arrival in front of Hotel Le Bristol at around 12:45/1:00 pm.

Afternoon tour (all year round):

2:00 pm: Pickup in front of Hotel Le Bristol (address: 44 cours Jean Jaurès 84000 Avignon).

5:45/6:00 pm: Back to Avignon (30 minutes drive). Arrival in front of Hotel Le Bristol at around 6:15/6:30 pm.

  • The tour will occur, except in case of emergency (red vigilance declared by Météo France, quarantine, driver’s illness)
